ADAPTIVE EQUIPMENT PROGRAMS
South Trail Driving School welcome's students with different disabilities.
Driver assessment Minimum 2 hrs. $250 + GST = $262.50
In some cases, the Alberta Driver Fitness and Monitoring (DF&M) Letter of conditions must be submitted to South Trail Driving School. Once the assessment completed, you may proceed to a driving program, if necessary.
The following 4 programs are offered to drivers with disabilities.
1. Driver course completion certificate; minimum requirements set by Alberta Transportation. The certificate is required for insurance reduction. 10 hours in-vehicle at $110 per hour.
This program also includes a 15 hours online novice course for insurance reduction when successfully completed. That is 75% in-vehicle and 80% online.
Car rental for road test: $95
Total: $1254.75 GST included
2. Non-GDL advance course completion certificate: 6 hours $710.
Includes a 15 hours online novice course for insurance reduction.
Total: $745.50 GST included
3. Two hour driving lesson.
Total: $241.50 GST included
4. Two hour lesson and one hour car rental for road test.
Total: $362.25 GST included

All lessons are video, audio and AI-telematics recorded.
Service is provided with a 2021 Toyota Rav4 Limited. Student will have to transfer, if required.
We service Calgary, Airdrie and Okotoks. A fee for travelling to other areas than these will be charged $85 per hour + GST = $89.25

STEERING WHEEL EXTENSION
The wireless spinner knobs are a great choice with it's six different button layouts, signals, dimmer, horn, front wiper and windshield fluid. The spinner knob allows for a grip with the palm area, requiring only a finger movement to reach the secondary controls. This is a question of safety without releasing the steering wheel.
