This is the minimum driver education requirement set by Alberta Transportation to receive a certificate. Upon completion of this course, 75% in vehicle and 80% online. Students will receive a course completion certificate which can be used to lower their insurance rates. This program consists of a FREE 15 hours of online knowledge and 10 hours of Behind-the-Wheel. (5 lessons, 2 hours each). Car rental available for the road test. $60 payable in cash only.

This 2.5 Hr package is the most frequent and ideal solution to use the car that you have been taking lessons in. Instructors often use many reference markers, especially for parallel parking. Nelson joined a major driving school in 2014 as an instructor and assistant manager to later form First Alberta Driver Safety, Okotoks and South Trail driving school. He happens to be one of the most experience instructors and is a huge asset to the company. Nelson has extensive experience as a road supervisor and driver trainer in the taxi industry and part-time limousine driver. He can effectively teach the young and seniors alike on safe driving techniques in the most adverse weather conditions. At South Trail-Okotoks driving school it will be our pleasure to come over for a 20min consultation before you purchase. We’ll show you all our credentials, licensing, mechanical fitness, insurance, vehicles, Police report, explanation of the course. We do understand this is a life time investment.
Be aware with the so called affordable or cheap driving schools. There are schools that are not qualified or claims to be the best. No different than some roofers, renovators etc. Make sure they have a Class 1-2 4 (Class 3 only is not valid), a valid instructors lic, Insurance Pink Slip and Vehicle Registration must match, older cars may cause you problems, make sure they have a valid dated mechanical fitness within the year.(check the car) It is your responsibility and you’re right to see all documents before purchasing.
